Apollo
Apollo and his siblings were found dehydrated, malnourished, abandoned in a box in an alley in Mississippi. The whole litter was labeled as extremely fearful at the shelter, and Apollo as particularly bad case. As first time dog parents we were highly discouraged in adopting him. They warned us as that fearfulness could develop into aggression. But with a lot of hard work and amazing trainers, Apollo has grown into a happy, well adjusted, loving boy! From hiding under the shelter bench despite sitting with him for 3 hours, to giving every stranger he can, big face licks, he is a true gem and big love bug! He loves to be around people and has proven that every shelter dog deserves the time and chance to show us who they can grow to be.
