Feral came to me at around 5 months old. She originally belonged to a man who was experiencing homelessness and was set to go to a rescue but I met her and immediately fell in love! She was an intense puppy! Even for a mal, Feral was a hand full! She needed a job and I immediately started bite work and sports with her. She was not an easy dog to say the least and not a dog for the faint of heart but her transformation has been amazing! The knowledge and skills I learned from her as a handler/trainer are priceless! I owe so much to this little dog and often wonder what would have happened if she had gone to a regular pet home. Today she is still crazy but she loves to work and I can’t imagine where my life would be today if I hadn’t brought her home 2.5 years ago.
