Who We Are
MAVPAC was founded in 2022 by Isabella Marchetta, inspired by the remarkable journey of a dog named Maverick. At just two months old, Maverick was surrendered and nearly euthanized for being deemed “too much work.” Thankfully, a no-kill shelter in Southern California gave him a second chance, and that moment marked the beginning of the MAVPAC story.
Isabella discovered Maverick through a social media post and, without hesitation, drove more than 2,500 miles across nine states to bring him home. What followed was a life filled with movement, training, exploration, and constant on-the-go moments. Maverick’s strength, intelligence, and high-energy needs quickly exposed a gap in the dog owner gear market. Products were either functional but uninspired, or stylish but impractical. None were designed for real life with an active dog.
As an individual that took a more modern approach in her own personal style and life, Isabella wanted gear that felt intentional. Pieces that could move seamlessly from walks to the park to road trips, training sessions to everyday errands. She wanted clean design, thoughtful organization, and durable construction without sacrificing style. Most importantly, she wanted gear that actually worked. Every treat, leash, phone, and essential needed a place, and every pocket needed a purpose.
With a clear vision for what was missing, Isabella set out to build MAVPAC from the ground up. She researched materials, studied construction, sketched concepts, sourced manufacturers, and tested every idea in real-world conditions alongside Maverick. Each detail was refined through use, driven by the belief that dog owner gear should support movement, simplify routines, and elevate the experience of adventuring together.
After months of prototyping and hands-on testing, MAVPAC launched its first line of modern, functional dog owner gear designed to be worn, used, and lived in. Fashion-forward yet highly practical, each piece is thoughtfully engineered to keep up with dogs who do more and humans who expect more from what they carry.
MAVPAC exists for dogs who live boldly and the people who build their lives around them. Every product is a tribute to Maverick’s journey and to the belief that the best ideas often come not from experience alone, but from love, resilience, and the refusal to settle.
What began as one dog’s second chance has grown into a movement, redefining dog owner gear for everyday adventure and equipping dogs and their humans for the lives they were meant to explore together.
