Nala

Nala is the first dog I’ve ever owned— she was adopted at 10 weeks old from a local shelter in central Texas. I initially went there to adopt her brother (I didn’t know Nala existed until I saw her in the cage with him.) I asked the lady “is this one available too?” When she told me yes, I felt like it was meant to be and my mom said “aw, she looks like a little Nala!” She seemed so calm, curious, and so ready to go home. She has always been such a good girl from the start— she learned how to be off leash at a very young age, and she’s always had free range around the house. She was also potty trained so quickly, despite me living on the 3rd floor of an apartment at the time. I actually found out she had a UTI at 4 months old, because she was having accidents inside and that was so unlike her! My little cub has since developed into a fierce lioness— she is protective, confident, curious, and most importantly— wild! She is about be 2, and I seriously can’t imagine my life without her. I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon her that day.
