Bandit

Bandit

Bandit is between 2 and 3 years old and came in with his sister as a stray in Chicago. When his original humans were identified they chose to bring home his sister and leave Bandit behind. After a short stay with Chicago Animal Control he buckled up for his journey to a foster home through Mit Leibe German Shepherd Rescue. This is where our love story began. We went to a meet and greet event with the hopes of just meeting a few dogs and giving out pets and walkies. Off in the distance sat Bandit (previously Neno) just watching and wagging. At that moment he chose us, there was no doubt about it. His foster mom said he cried and cried when we had to head home and didn’t want to “talk” with any other potential adopters. As someone with a lifetime German Shepherd experience I have never met one so happy and so friendly with everyone he meets. He has the happy personality of a Labrador inside a GSD body. I can’t imagine why he wasn’t claimed but that is their loss. He will spend the his furever playing with kongs and eating ice cream cones with his younger brother Maverick.
